Thought you might enjoy seeing the latest picture of Kristen at exactly 28 weeks. Although she won't have another ultra sound to measure growth until next Friday, the doctors are saying they are surprised to find the babies are actually bigger than multiples usually are at this stage of the game. These doctors just have no idea how many people are praying! :)

Hooray! Kristen is now 28 WEEKS!! She is doing great. Every day and week we can add now is just going to be icing on the cake. 90% of babies born at 28 weeks arrive safely and with no long term health issues. We praise God for bringing this wonderful day and we know we can trust Him for that extra 10%! How can we ever thank all of you enough for your prayers??

Well, Kristen and the babies are only 2 days away from that huge 28 week marker! That is nothing short of a miracle. It's been almost 6 weeks since her doctors decided to attempt the risky cerclage procedure and things are continuing to go smoothly. At that point, they couldn't even assure us 24 weeks was possible and here we are 4 weeks beyond that. God continues to be so faithful to Kristen, Ben and the babies.

We continue to pray for 30+ weeks and with that goal in mind, I am planning to fly out to Seattle sometime early in week 29. No way to know an exact date, of course, but I really, really want to be there for the big day!

Kristen sailed right past the 26 week mark on Tuesday! As we get closer to that important 28th week, we are happy to report that she and the babies are doing great. Thanks so much for praying!

She had an ultrasound today and the babies are all 2+ pounds. Baby "C" (Kristen and Ben have promised definite names soon!) is the closest to 2.5 pounds, but they are all growing and have strong heart beats.

Kristen had yet another hospital shower a few days ago. We've posted some pictures so you can see some of the fun things she got from her great group of friends from college. These girls are like sisters to Kristen and they have been so supportive throughout her pregnancy. They organized and shipped a beautiful array of shower gifts and Kristen got to open the everything at the hospital.

Obviously, even a mini-van is not large enough to haul around triplets and Ben has been on the hunt for something big enough to do just that. You can see the picture of the beautiful Yukon XL Ben was able to purchase a few days ago. He had to go all the way to Portland, Oregon to find what he was looking for, but all three car seats will fit on one seat and it will be perfect for this growing family. Now, if Kristen can just learn to drive it! :)

Kristen is now 25 weeks pregnant! She's doing well and the babies are continuing to grow. One thing we are learning in this journey - every additional day counts!

Kristen's doctors made the decision this week to go ahead and give her a steroid shot. The timing is a little tricky because the shot is only of benefit to the babies for about 2 weeks, and in all but very rare cases they can only give it once, but should the babies be born in the next 14 days, this will increase the capacity of their tiny lungs to breathe. We are continuing to pray for 30+ weeks but we are also grateful for all the doctors are doing to get the triplets here safely, as well as keep Kristen healthy and strong.

Thanks again for your prayers. We know God is in control!
