To bring you up to speed on the events of this week, Kristen was 23 weeks on January 16th. As you know, 24 weeks is a major milestone since that is considered by many to be the age babies are viable. All of us will be happy when she reaches the 24th week on January 26.

Kristen continues to hold her own after the cerclage procedure 10 days ago. She is on strict bed rest for the remainder of her pregnancy and was moved this week from a hospital in Everett, Washington to the University of Washington Medical Center in downtown Seattle. This facility is better equipped to handle births of babies born 24 to 28 weeks. Please continue to pray with us that Kristen can carry them 30 - 32 weeks!

Some of you have wondered how someone spends their time when they have to be in bed all day, every day. With the approval of her doctors, Kristen is blessed to still be able to continue her work while in the hospital. Most of her day, Monday - Friday, is spent dealing with her clients around the world by computer and phone as she continues to work in marketing for IDEX. She definitely is perfecting the concept of a virtual workplace being possible almost anywhere!

Please also pray for Ben who most days drives 2 hours each way to spend time with Kristen. In addition to his work schedule and the drive time to Seattle, he is working to finish the nursery pretty much on his own, since no one expected Kristen to be on hospital bed rest this early. Great job, Ben!
